1. About the service

Kundvalsmodellen is a digital service used by municipalities to manage advisory services, bookings, and activities related to business support. The service is currently operated as part of a limited pilot.

2. Data controller

The municipality providing the service is the data controller for personal data. The platform provider acts as a data processor and processes data only on behalf of the municipality.

3. Personal data we process

We process the following types of personal data:

• •Identity data (name and personal identity number)
• •Contact details (email address and phone number)
• •Information provided during registration, booking, or application
• •Information about use of the service (such as bookings and activities)

Personal identity numbers may be processed for secure identification (for example via BankID or the municipality's login solution).

Data may also be used in anonymized or aggregated form for statistics and service improvement.

4. Purpose of processing

Personal data is processed to:

• •Identify and authenticate users
• •Manage bookings and advisory sessions
• •Communicate with users regarding the service
• •Administer the municipality's advisory services
• •Improve and evaluate the service

5. Legal basis

Personal data is processed as necessary to perform tasks carried out in the public interest, in line with the municipality's responsibility to support businesses.

Where the processing relates to a contractual relationship with the user, the legal basis is the performance of a contract.

6. Data retention

Personal data is stored only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by applicable laws and regulations.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, as well as restriction of processing. You also have the right to object to processing and, where applicable, the right to data portability.

If you are not satisfied with how your data is handled, you can file a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

8. Contact

Questions regarding personal data processing should be directed to the municipality providing the service. Contact details are available on the municipality's website.

9. Calendar integrations

This section applies only to advisors and service providers who choose to connect an external calendar (such as Google or Microsoft).

The service may access calendar information to display availability and create bookings in the advisor's calendar.

The data is used only to manage bookings, calendar availability, and advisory sessions within the service.

You can disconnect your calendar at any time. Please note that this means you will no longer be able to receive bookings through the service.

10. Use of Google user data

Kundvalsmodellen's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data obtained through Google APIs is used solely to provide and improve the functionality of the service, such as managing bookings and calendar availability.

The data is not used for advertising purposes and is not sold or shared with third parties, except as necessary to provide the service.

11. Analytics and service improvement

The service may, with your consent, use tools to analyze how the service is used, for example by collecting information about how users navigate and interact with the service.

The information is used solely to improve functionality and user experience, and such processing only takes place after the user has given their consent.

This policy may be updated if the service changes or if the processing of personal data is modified.
